Due to the pandemic the tradition of going on language weeks just before Easter could not be continued. 27 students of 4BK went to Bray in June to boost their English.

Am Sonntag um 11 Uhr, nach einer für viele schlaflosen Nacht aufgrund des sehr frühen Fluges, erreichten wir, die Italienischgruppe der 5ck, endlich das Hotel Capitol in Rom, das uns von Anfang an positiv überraschte.
Yes, indeed, it is possible to take students abroad even in times of Corona. Class 5b are evidence of that. Just 5 days into the new school year, 20 students and 2 teachers, all fully vaccinated, of course, embarked on a trip to Bray/ Ireland.
Neither a new pupil, nor a guest speaker at our school… Mario Brighton is just one of the souvenirs brought back from our language week in Great Britain from 6th April to 13th April.

“If you don’t like the weather, wait for 10 minutes” – The students of 4b and 4c found out about the meaning of this Irish “saying” … and that sometimes you have to wait a little longer to see the sunny side of Bray.
